Public Transportation in San Diego

San Diego’s public transportation system is called the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and there are buses and trolleys to take you around the county.

If you have arrived in San Diego as a resettled refugee, a member of the Resettlement Department staff will provide a public transportation orientation to help teach you how to pay for, ride, and understand how to use the buses and trolleys.
