Employment Services: What we do

• Job searching

• Online job applications
• Mock interviews
• Teach you to use the bus for transportation or drive you to interviews, job fairs, and orientations
• Career counseling
• Identify your skills, interests, and work experiences
• Maintain close contact with employers
• Onboarding assistance
• Interpreting assistance during interviews and onboarding
• Advise you on your rights and responsibilities
• Assist with job advancements & career path setting
• We lead Job Club workshops at the office to help you apply to jobs, create resumes, and get information about employment opportunities

Client Responsibilities: What you must do

To help you successfully find and keep a job, our Employment Specialists ask you to:

• Be honest with the employment team
• Be open minded: the first job will not be your last one  
• Be on time, always!  
• Call your supervisor if you must miss work  
• Inform your supervisor early about appointments  
• Provide your first, second, and third pay stub to your Employment Specialist  
• Talk to an Employment Specialist if there are issues at work  
• Do not quit without having a new job  
• Inform us if you lose your job
