Family Reunification

Family reunification is key to the successful integration of refugees and immigrants in the U.S., as well as a fundamental principle of the American immigration system. IRC assists refugees, asylees, lawful permanent residents and US citizens to sponsor their immediate family members to join them in the US through family-based immigration petitions. IRC’s immigration legal staff provide eligibility screening for individuals seeking family reunification, and application assistance for those who qualify.
