Our services for eligible clients in Charlottesville include:
- Airport pickup, housing services, and benefits enrollment upon initial arrival
- Job readiness training, support with job placement, financial coaching, benefits navigation, and career development services
- Immigration legal services, including citizenship applications, green card applications, family reunification petitions, employment authorization documents, and travel documents
- ESL classes and cultural orientation
- School enrollment, orientation and advocacy services for families with minor aged children, including IEP/504 coordination
- Academic and social support for school aged children, including afterschool programs, field trips, and college visits
- Orientation to U.S. Healthcare system and establishment of primary care for all clients and specialist care as needed
- Intensive case management for clients needing additional wraparound support, including single parents, survivors of torture and/or trafficking, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals with special medical conditions
- Land access and training and technical assistance for urban agriculture to grow culturally appropriate food for family’s consumption and/or produce sales at local markets for additional income
- Interpretation support and language access
